Feeling Lucky

Wow! How good is Cape Le Grand National Park!

Cape Le Grand National Park is heaven with its breathtaking beaches, Rocky Mountains and parklands for miles. We camped at Lucky Bay and took the time to explore the national park, hiking to Thistle Cove and the top of Frenchman’s Peak.

Thistle Cove was a true gem and it was amazing to have such a perfect beach all to ourselves. The hike to Frenchman’s Peak was a little intimidating for some of us, but we all made it to the top and were thankful we did. The views from the top were truly breathtaking, with 360-degree views that stretched for miles. The kangaroos at the park were like pets, just hanging out in our campsite and on the beaches.

Wharton’s Beach lived up to its name, and we were amazed by the beauty of Cape Le Grand beach. But it was the stunning sunset at Cape Le Grand that truly took our breath away. The warm colors of the setting sun reflecting on the water, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, and the fresh ocean breeze made for a truly unforgettable experience.

Im struggling to even capture our experience in words. Im sure the photos will speak for themselves. Do yourself a favour and just go to Lucky Bay.
